We have two simple targets:

10%+ increase in bus passengers

Bus user satisfaction at 90%

To fully achieve this the City Council will need:

Additional funding

At least £5m extra annual subsidy is required for:

·       Reduced fares for young persons and commuters

·       Improved evening and Sunday frequencies

·       Orbital bus service frequency to every 15 minutes

Devolved powers

Additional local control is sought from government for:

·       Full responsibility for buses and highways across all Greater Leicester

·       Bus registration and enforcement powers

·       Funding and responsibility for all local operator grants

With this additional help we can achieve 100% One Network transformation.
