Planned Service Disruptions
Details of planned service disruptions and diversions in the network can be found here.
Closure: Narborough Road (Evesham Road to Imperial Avenue)
Date: 30th August from 8am to 6pm
The 50/51 (Leicester to Narborough), X6 (Leicester to Coventry), X45 (Leicester to Magna Park) and X84 (Leicester to Rugby) will divert via Fullhurst Avenue, Fosse Road and Hinckley Road.
Closure: Checketts Road (Parade)
Date: 5th September (10am to 3pm)
The 40N (Northern Orbital) will divert via Loughborough Road, Watermead Way and Melton Road.
Closure: Victoria Road East
Date: from 7pm on 5th September each evening until 15th September
The 58/A (City Centre to Hamilton) will divert via Gipsy Lane, Lower Keyham Lane and Hamilton Way.
Closure: Meadvale Road
Date: 5th & 6th September
The 44/44A/44S (City Centre to South Wigston) will divert via Knighton Road, Chapel Lane and Welford Road.
Closure: Duncan Road
Date: 7th to 28th September
The 83/A (City Centre to Aylestone) will divert via Milligan Road, Aylestone Drive and Wigston Lane.
Closure: Loughborough Road near Outdoor Pursuits Centre
Date: from 9pm on 17th September
The 127 (Leicester to Shepshed) will divert via St Margarets Way and Abbey Lane.
Closure: Evington Road
Date: 27th September
The 22/22A/22E (City Centre to Evington) will divert via East Park Road and Chesterfield Road.
Planned Service Changes
From 22nd August 2026
29A: Leicester to Ashby-de-la-Zouch - the 23:50 journey from Leicester to Coalville will no longer operate due to low usage. On Saturdays the 29A will only operate between Leicester and Coalville, those travelling to Ashby will need to catch the 29.
31: Leicester to Oadby - a revised timetable will be operating to improve reliability.
44/A: Leicester to Fleckney - On weekdays, the service 44 trip at 0610 from Wigston to Leicester will leave at 0555 and run at new times throughout, to offer an earlier arrival at LRI. The 44A trip at 0557 from Wigston Cranes Way will now leave 15 minutes earlier.
56/A: Leicester to Scraptoft - a revised timetable will be operating to improve reliability.
84/85: Leicester to Lutterworth/Countesthorpe - On weekdays, the 0620 service 84 from Leicester will leave at 0615 and run 5 minutes earlier. The 0635 service 85 from Leicester will leave at 0630 and run 5 minutes earlier. On arrival at Countesthorpe, it will continue as a new trip on route 87 to South Wigston.
127: Leicester to Shepshed - a revised timetable and route into Loughborough town centre will be operating to improve reliability.
X3: Leicester to Market Harborough - there will be small revisions to early evening journey times.
X6: Leicester to Coventry Fast - This will operate to a revised route and timetable. All journeys will now run one consistent, fast and direct route between Leicester & Coventry via Burbage Three Pots. The route will now also serve Walsgrave Parkway in Coventry and journeys will no longer run via Hinckley town centre. Customers for Leicester can use service 158, Fosse Park can use LC14 and in Coventry will need to use alternative transport providers.
X45: Leicester to Magna Park - a revised timetable will be operating to improve reliability.
X84: Leicesterto Rugby - the weekdays 1745 Rugby to Lutterworth journey will now continue to Leicester.
